COMME DES GARCONS and KAWS's first collaboration perfume "Mirror"
Inspired by KAWS'various works, "Mirror" creates a musky and floral scent by blending various sweet scents. In the design of the bottle, the KAWS character "COMPANION" that appears everywhere from art works to products appears.
With the concept of "designing not to design", a new perfume was born in the PLAY brand, which is familiar with the heart symbol icon. Three types of scents have been developed under the theme of red, green and black in search of a scent that is simple, classic and forever loved. The package is uniquely designed with icons in each color.
RED A refreshing citrus scent and a floral scent such as geranium are mixed to create a sweet, feminine and refreshing first note. The second note has an adult scent of herbs, and at the end, the scent of cinnamon with a deep, high-quality and gentle atmosphere remains.
・ AVIGNON: Add vanilla, patchouli and incense to Roman chamomile for a gentle scent reminiscent of the history of Southern France.
・ JAISALMER: Cinnamon, amber and incense are added to the traditional Indian scent, cardamom, to create a mysterious scent.
・ KYOTO (Kyoto): Image of a quiet temple in Kyoto. The scent of traditional Japanese incense guides the mind of meditation. Contains Cypress, Cheek, and Amber with a focus on insense oil.
・ ZAGORSK: Based on Russian white incense, pineapple, pimento berry, violet, iris, etc. are blended. You can feel the calm in the floral scent.
ZERO is the origin of a new perspective set based on the fundamental expression of simplicity: Excessive antithesis. The quest for freedom within the parameters of interest. It is a concept that creates contrast and complement with the opposite scent. It is based on the scents of ink, incense, and patchouli (a plant of the Labiatae family from India), which are representative of oriental scents. Twelve kinds of green scents are mixed with animal sesame oil to create a unique calm scent that has never existed before.
