Since its founding in 1993, Comme des Garçons Parfum has forged its own unique world with an experimental approach that is unconstrained by existing concepts of perfume. Rather than viewing scent as simply a symbol of luxury or decoration, the brand continues to present it as a means of expression that reflects perspectives on society and culture. This perfume line, created by Rei Kawakubo in collaboration with perfumer Christian Astugeviel, has built up a collection that combines harmony and disharmony, pleasure and discomfort, memory and strangeness through its "anti-perfume" stance.

The 25AW season marks a milestone, marking over 30 years since the brand's founding, and as such, it is an attempt to look back on its history while also presenting new developments. One particularly noteworthy addition is "Syros," the latest addition to the long-running collaboration with MONOCLE. While previous collaborations have resulted in scents such as "Hinoki," "Laurel," and "Sugi," the new release "Syros" is based on notes evocative of the nature and atmosphere of the Aegean Sea, and is positioned to bridge the gap between urban life and memories of nature.

The entire collection was announced under the keyword "THE CITY OF GENIUS," demonstrating how fragrance is linked to the intelligence and creativity of the city. Each item is designed to stimulate thought and the senses while remaining an extension of everyday life, giving new meaning to the sensation of "wearing" perfume.

The Comme des Garçons Parfum 25AW collection continues the brand's spirit of overturning conventional aesthetics, and by adding "Syros" in collaboration with MONOCLE, this season offers a new interpretation and experience of fragrance.
