The 26SS '00202026 _ CALIDITY' collection isThe collection is structured around a "day in the life" lived on a fictional island isolated from society. Following the flow of time from morning to noon to night, the wardrobe unfolds in a way that mirrors the rhythm of life, from light, pajama-like attire to practical workwear and tailored pieces that embrace the quiet of the night. The designer's philosophy of viewing clothing not merely as decoration but as a structure that supports daily life is reflected throughout the collection. In the background, elements of Eastern European culture, military uniforms, and folk costumes, which are the designer's own roots, are layered with an interest in Japanese crafts and denim technology. What this collection presents is a system of clothing that circulates within an isolated community. Through the intersection of Eastern European cultural memory, Japanese craftsmanship, and the functional beauty of workwear, KIKO KOSTADINOV quietly questions the role of clothing in the modern age and its relationship to life.
