Our new project is finally launching!
World-renowned artist Takashi Murakami,
And now, READYMADE, ©SAINT Mxxxxxx, and designer Yuta Hosokawa's special project "mononoke・made" are finally set to launch.

mononoke・made is not just a collaboration,
In 2018, Hosokawa produced clothing using Murakami's artwork, which led to the collaboration born from the strong relationship of trust and essential dialogue in their creative process that they had built over many years.
This project can be considered a culmination of efforts.
It took approximately two years to create, from conception to completion.
This is not the first time Takashi Murakami and Yuta Hosokawa have collaborated.
The memorable first collaboration took place in 2019.
It is Takashi Murakami's iconic "flower,"
READYMADE has released collaborative items using military materials, which are part of their identity, and they will be available at cherry fukuoka / Tonari no Zingaro.
It attracted so much attention that it sold out in an instant as soon as it went on sale.

And amidst the excitement, the two promised to collaborate again.
We are now finally launching 'mononoke・made'.
In this project, we will select from Takashi Murakami's artwork.
Not only the well-known "Ohana" and "DOB",
The collection features numerous pieces of artwork that have never been released as apparel products before.
Mr. Hosokawa, regarding these precious works of art, considered the materials, structure, and sewing.
We thoroughly addressed every detail of the manufacturing process, and went through numerous prototypes.
It has been elevated into a three-dimensional product.
mononoke・made is the first to translate Takashi Murakami's art into apparel with such a free and bold interpretation.
mononoke・made is Kaikai Kiki's first release.
It is an original brand, and at the same time, for Mr. Hosokawa,
This project is a culmination of everything we've cultivated so far, pouring all of our manufacturing philosophy and experience into it.

This work incorporates Takashi Murakami's "Sakura" artwork,
This item, a symbol of the collection, was created using advanced technology and an enormous amount of time.
The graphic on the back was created by disassembling each individual petal and reconstructing them as embroidery data.
By layering the embroidery in 5 to 6 layers, the depth of the cherry blossoms is expressed in a three-dimensional way.
Furthermore, by layering a transfer print with precisely matched patterns over the embroidery,
The delicate colors of the artwork were faithfully reproduced. The embroidery process alone required more than 10 prototypes to complete.
The embroidery is applied with an exceptional density of over 20,000 stitches, which is unusual for apparel.
This garment is made to an extremely time-consuming standard, with only one piece being completed per day.
