The GEL-KAYANO series was born in 1993 as a performance running shoe named after designer Shunichi Kayano . After its release in 2008, the GEL-KAYANO 14 was highly praised by the market, and ASICS SportStyle updated it for town use and reissued it as a lifestyle sneaker in 2020.
