ASICS × SNEAKERS
ASICS is a Japanese sports equipment manufacturer, widely known for its high-performance running shoes and sportswear. Founded in 1949 as "Onitsuka Shokai," the company changed its name to "ASICS" in 1977 following the merger of three other sports equipment manufacturers. The name is derived from the initials of the Latin proverb "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano" (A sound mind in a sound body).
The collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov is a collection that seamlessly blends ASICS' advanced functionality, based on sports science, with Kiko Kostadinov's unique experimental and structural approach. Based on the concept of "harmony between constructive form and practicality," the collection incorporates experimental pattern making and cutting-edge color palettes into the details, drawing inspiration from contrasting structures such as city and nature, and movement and stillness.
