Post Archive Faction (PAF) × WALLET・CARD CASE
POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) is a South Korean brand founded by Dong-joon Lee in 2018. Based on the theme of "evolving uniforms," the brand offers products that combine high practicality with cutting-edge design. Characterized by asymmetrical construction, wrinkle processing techniques, and heavy paneling, the brand has established a unique style. Its keywords are functionality, silhouette, and unique design. PAF also has three lines: "Right," "Left," and "Center," which are influenced by the concepts of the political right and left. These lines are the result of a conscious effort to balance different views.
The 25AW collection, "PAST PRESENT FUTURE," was the brand's first to present a clear theme. Rather than linearly arranging past, present, and future, it expressed a "nonlinear time" in which the two overlap and intertwine. PAF presents clothing as a "product" unaffected by trends or consumption, pursuing designs with timeless value. Starting with basic sets and mod coats, the collection incorporated asymmetrical tailoring, uneven pockets, and distorted silhouettes to create forms that transcend the known and the unknown. Functional materials like nylon were combined with classic fabrics like wool and knit, creating textures that incorporate sheen and shadows to accentuate the contrast between stillness and movement. The color palette was primarily composed of black, gray, and beige, with subtle variations in subdued tones creating a rich, expressive expression. This collection vividly embodied the brand's philosophy of "creating clothing that transcends time," demonstrating a presence that combined experimental spirit with universal appeal.
