Kaikai Kiki is an "all-in-one art company" that handles everything from art production to distribution and management in a vertically integrated manner, centered on the "Superflat" theory advocated by contemporary artist Takashi Murakami.
Its activities are wide-ranging, functioning not only as a studio for Murakami's own artwork, but also as a place to nurture and promote young artists, operate galleries and cafes, and even organize art fairs like "GEISAI," essentially building an entire art ecosystem in-house. In recent years, it has expanded its business to include NFTs, trading cards, and collaborations with fashion brands, bridging the gap between high art and subculture.
